Yushintei Hotel - Hakone

The cozy atmosphere and beautiful kaiseki meals were a highlight for us. We loved the spacious room with a lovely open-air bath. My teenage daughter especially enjoyed trying on the yukata robes provided.

My kids wished for a later check-out time.

Free parking on site provided. Airy room and spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. Variety of options, GREAT food. Location adjacent to a bus stop, direct from the station, city center and Yushintei.

There was variety of nice meals. The hotel had a remote setting near the station. Plus, it was so close to a river and a wide variety of hiking trails and onsens and the mountains.

Yushintei offered fantastic hospitality with nice kaiseki meals that were beautifully presented. The communal and private onsen experience was a highlight for relaxation, situated near the onsen areas. The warm greeting from the staff.

The warm hospitality enveloped us-a good array of cute treats and a spacious room adorned with traditional decor. The private outdoor onsen was a true oasis, surrounded by nature.

Our experience was slightly impacted by the limited WiFi access, making it a challenge to stay connected .

The traditional vibes and amazing kaiseki meals were a highlight! The futons were pretty firm, and some decor could use an update 🙃

The hosts were really warm. They remembered our food preferences and made a special effort to adjust the meals for us on the second night, unexpected and sweet.

It wasn't the cheapest stay around, but for the experience we had, it was acceptable.

The hospitality stands out, with staff providing a warm welcome and going the extra mile to accommodate our family's needs, including a good meal for our toddler. The outdoor private bath was a highlight. The mattresses were quite firm and may not appeal to everyone, and the walk from the train station is uphill, which could be challenging with luggage. The decor in some areas could use a fresh update, given the historic nature of the building.

Yushintei offers an authentic Japanese experience, with extensive kaiseki meals that highlight local ingredients. The private onsen was really good, with a spacious tub and serene outdoor setting, awesome for a relaxing retreat. The check-in process was discreet and enjoyable, served with tea and snacks in the room, made for a warm welcome after a long day of work.

The staff was warm and inviting, going above and beyond to. The private onsen in our room was a good retreat after exploring the area. The meals were locally sourced and beautifully prepared, showcasing traditional flavors.

It would be nice if the WiFi signal was stronger for easier connectivity .

The room was absolutely perfect with an onsen bath en suite when upgraded. the location was great and quiet for traveling around Hakone, close enough to the train station and Yushintei and the mountain.

The room was a decent size and updated, perfect for our needs. the private open-air bath was exactly what we were looking for. - the location was remote but conveniently close to the train station. - the hotel was pretty and we would definitely recommend it.
